Clár Tillekens
Clár Tillekens is an American-Irish photographic artist, writer, and DJ based in London, Berlin, and New York. Her latest visual work primarily focuses on transnationalism, ancestral lore, and ethnoreligious community. Prompted by her own experiences, Tillekens has been examining how national identities are becoming increasingly hyphenated through globalism. And with three-percent of the world’s population living outside of their country of origin, she has been exploring the varying layers of immigration and memory.
