Jiehao Su
Working primarily with image, text, and installation, Jiehao Su's artistic practice centers on the intersection of perception, translation, and representation. He is particularly interested in the poetics of everyday life as well as the mediated experiences in contemporary societies. His recent works examine the boundaries between personal history and collective consciousness - and question the ability of media to truly engage with those themes. Overall, Su intends to create an empathetic space and thus evoke some higher awareness or a further understanding of daily situations.
