Kalen Na’il Roach
Kalen Na'il Roach (b. 1992) is an artist from Prince George's County, Maryland currently working in photography, collage, video, and installation. Born to civil servant/baker extraordinaire, Em'Ria Briscoe, and firefighter/boxing trainer, the late Bernard T. Roach Jr. (1964-2017). After receiving his first camera from his father during his sophomore year of high school he went on to graduate with his BFA in Photography from St. John's University in 2014 and complete the International Center of Photography's One-Year General Studies Program (now Creative Practices) in 2013.
