Lua Ribeira
Lua Ribeira. Born in Galicia, 1986. My attempt with the work is to question the notions of acceptability determined by dominant culture, in relation to what exists on the broader sides of this narrow definition. It is through my experience of abandoning straight paths and staying in the encounters with no space established for them, that I have the possibility to work in relation to the fragility -or strength- of the establishment. Ultimately -formally speaking, it is through the study of the gestures and liturgies that our condition is capable of, that I wish a sense of empathy -not sympathy- to emerge from the pictures.
