Studied Photojournalism at the International Center of Photography in New York City and Film at Vassar College, in Poughkeepsie, New York. "Si Dios Quiere," work from El Carmen de Bolivar, south of Cartagena, Colombia, was selected as a finalist for the 2016 Dorothea Lange-Paul Taylor Prize from the Duke University Center for Documentary Studies. More on that soon. Worked with Feature Shoot, Open Society Foundations, Self-Publish Be Happy, The Latent Image, Ain't Bad Magazine, Chances with Wolves Gazine #, and Paper Journal. Various/misc. work/assignments for The New Yorker blog, MTV.com, Cal Northern Magazine, Miss Media. Contributing writer to Dossier Journal, Line A, Paper Journal. Former photo instructor with the Josephine Herrick Project in NYC and 6th Street Photography in San Francisco.
