Kerry J. Dean’s work is a seamless blend of chance encounter and careful orchestration, celebrating and exaggerating the theatricality of the everyday, creating a tension between the domestic and the surreal that is evident in many of her images. Her recent body of work Observations and Orchestrations was shot between 2015-2018, and was nominated for the prestigious Hyères Festival Grand Prix 2019.
Dean grew up in the Midlands and studied photography at London College of Printing her work has been exhibited internationally and has featured in numerous publications including AnOther, Die Dame, i-D, Zeit, and Vogue.
