Instagram Takeover – Revista Balam

Revista Balam is an independent contemporary photography magazine based in Buenos Aires, Argentina that showcases the work of emerging and established artists from Latin America and the rest of the world. This week, editor-in-chief Luis Juárez is taking over the Paper Journal Instagram to share images from Revista Balam’s upcoming sixth issue, themed ‘MESTIZX’.

This issue is the result of an open call for contributors and presents the work of more than 100 artists from across the world. Through their eyes, we see a world in which the political, social, and cultural lives of LGBTQ+ people are set free from repressive, heterosexual norms.
