English as a Second Language, curated by Shonagh Marshall, presents a new series of works by Moon and Ng created directly in response to Somerset House’s historical setting.
Featuring both newly commissioned photographs and imagery from Moon and Ng’s fashion photography archive, the exhibition, which is specially developed with award-winning design practice Studio Veronica Ditting, explores the vitality and importance of fresh perspectives within fashion photography and the power fashion photography holds in shaping our perceptions of beauty, style, and taste.
Working with stylists Agata Belcen and Makram Bitar, the works feature clothing from international and established brands including Vivienne Westwood, Ovelia Transtoto, Elizabeth Emanuel Archive and Molly Goddard.
English as a Second Language is on view at Somerset House through 28 April 2019
