Instagram Takeover – Kovi Konowiecki

Kovi Konowiecki is sharing portraits and still lifes from his new book, Cherry Ave, launching this month at Offprint London. Konowiecki grew up in the neighbourhood surrounding Long Beach, California and Cherry Ave sees his return to this area to document the community in a lyrical ode to home.

Born in 1992, Konowiecki holds studied Media Communications at Wake Forest University, and Photography at the University of the Arts London. After playing professional soccer in Europe, he turned to photography as a way to document the things around him and shed light on different aspects of his identity.
