Tobias Faisst
Tobias Faisst, grew up in the black forest region of south Germany. After completing two apprenticeships in business and media design, he studied communication design at Fachhochschule Potsdam (see Design work), focusing on photography while also working as an assistant to product-photographer Amos Fricke in Berlin. Holding his degree since 2014, Tobias works as photographer in the fields of reportage, product design and editorial. Besides his work as a contractor he has dedicated himself to artistic photography with focus on still life, sculpture and documentation. Tobias is a multi-disciplinary artist whose graphic eye can be seen instantly in his photographic work. Bridging the worlds of design and photography, Tobias thinks holistically across different media and works with the final context in mind. His slick aesthetic edges on hyper-real represents the front line of contemporary digital media. His methodical approach involves extensive research, meticulously building every frame.
