Instagram Takeover – Daniel Stier

A pile of multicoloured groceries, mostly bleak and milk and cleaning fluids.

Daniel Stier is a photographer whose eye is drawn to the plastic clutter and synthetic colour that define modern living.

He’s as familiar with photographing the interiors of bank vaults and strip clubs as he is producing surreal still lifes and kitsch product photoshoots, and his slick, brightly lit portraiture is always flattering, but often unnerving. His work has been featured by publications including Zeit Magazin, T Magazine, and the FT Weekend.

Daniel’s taking over @paperjournalmag from today until the 1st of April. You can follow him @mrdanielstier and see more of his work at www.danielstier.com.
